Summit is proud to announce that The Canadian Intellectual Property Office has issued patent CA 2722369 for our Summit Earth™ S3-S Navigator Technology. The Summit Earth™ S3-S Navigator (S3-S Navigator) is the custom GPS guidance and automation system engineered to regulate and ensure land application vehicles execute compliant disposal operations. The issued patent is for the system and method for land application of waste fluids and covers 71 claims.
This is a significant development in the evolution of compliance management and another example of Summit leading through innovation. The S3-S Navigator is an integral component of Summit's innovative system which combines precision GPS guidance and automation with custom web-based GIS software to control drilling waste management operations and eliminate recurring non-compliance actions like spraying outside the set boundaries of the approved application areas and exceeded application rates.
The Summit Earth™ Compliance Management System is essential considering today’s strict regulations. It is the only mechanical control engineered to ensure compliance and control disposal operations based on regulatory parameters controlled by Summit. This is even more important considering Alberta’s May 2, 2012 release of the Directive 050 where controlling application rates will be critical for soil loading rate compliance. Using simple geo-fence set up and truck calibration, Summit’s technology provides a state of the art solution for today’s waste management industry.
